7 months and a tooth!!

He likes to play golf with his bat , I think he has good form!

This is just scary!

Finally Chloe has a tooth. It seemed like she had been teething for 4 months now. She isn't as fussy now. We went to Children's on Tuesday , ENT checkup, and she looked great. They said they usually do a follow up swallow study after 6 months, but they would make us coming in around December, he did not want her up here during that sick season. I know there are lots of kids sick on any given day up there but during the winter there are more, so he was just watching out for us. And he said he wanted to do it after she turns one, this way maybe she would have grown out of aspirating, so we wouldn't have to use simply thick. Our next appointment at Children's is for the GI clinic and it is September 8th, hopefully he will let us start trying some kind of milk or soy by then. If not it isn't a big deal. Since she is doing so well on food she hardly wants to drink a bottle, if she does it is 4 or 6 oz and she only drinks like 4 of them. I am so not use to this. Liam wanted 6-8 bottles a day and they were 8 oz every time. Some things she is doing:

  • Sitting up for long periods of time

  • Inchworm crawling or backwards

  • Loves the piano just like her big brother

  • talks or yells all day long

  • saying momma, dada, baba- I was making her bottle the other day and she was saying "baba baba baba" until I gave it to her.

  • LOVES fruit juice popsicles, I started giving her these after she had tried all the babyfood fruit, we put it in the mess feeder and she goes to town

  • Loves her bathtime, could stay in there for ever

  • Trying to clap but misses most of the time

  • We are still working on sleeping through the night, somedays she does others she doesn't

  • Wears size 4 diapers, 18 month clothing, size 2 shoe

I am not sure how much she weighs or length, but I am making her six month appointment this week so we will find out . I know she isn't even close to what Liam was at this time. He was 30 inches and 25 pounds. Speaking of Liam just this week he started counting to 18!! I can't believe it. I am so proud of him. We are still working on colors and shapes. Potty training went well for a little while but now he is being a little lazy , but he hasn't given up. We use underwear so it makes for a bigger mess but he doesn't like the way it feels and in diapers he could careless if he is wet or dry so this was the way for us to go.
